10 Songs I can’t live without at the moment. Part II

#1 Lorde – Liability

It’s shocking how I can relate to this song so much. At least 99% of the time. So many feelings. Lorde, you are amazing!

#2 Ro James – Burn Slow

I just watched the video to this song for the first time while preparing this video (because let’s be honest, who really watches videos nowadays), and I gotta say: A very sexy video for a very sexy song. (Let’s not talk about the fact that Ro James isn’t the prettiest singer out there.)

#3 EXES – Like You

I guess this is the number 1 heartbreak song and speaks everyone who just realised

#4 Stu Larsen – King Street

The lyrics of this song are so full of truth and emotions and get me everytime. And on top of that does his music bring my memories back to Australia right away.

#5 Amber Run – Fickle Game

I was lucky enough to see these English guys at Southside Festival last month and while I already loved the music on Spotify, I loved it even more live. So many emotions!

#6 NoMBe – California Girls

This very catchy song somehow reminds me of Alt-J. And that can only be a good thing.

#7 Flume – Some Minds

I just love Flume. He could do whatever he wanted to do and I would love him. But it helps that he came out with this great song recently.

#8 Dermot Kennedy – After Rain

My friend introduced me to Dermot Kennedy about a year ago and ever since I wanted to go see him live, especially since he’s Irish and I just love the Irish. This year at Longitude I was lucky enough to see him perform in his hometown. And all my friends fell equally in love with him and his music.

#9 Trey Songz – Playboy

I rediscovered my absolute love for R&B music a while ago and one of the greatest (and sexiest) R&B artists out there is without a doubt Trey Songz. At Vestival in Amsterdam I got the pleasure to see him live and while I’ve never had a crush on any celebrity I gotta say, this guy…. Everyone who’s ever seen him live knows what I’m talking about.

#10 Linkin Park – Numb

This one’s a given after what happened last week. Chester Bennington had one of the most magical voices out there and I am very grateful I got to see him live at Southside Festival in June. Linkin Park’s music was always important to me and it will probably always be. Thanks for this gift, Chester.
